The framework addresses concerns related to paperwork, costs, or sovereignty, and resolves issues like medicine supply and pet movement between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

UKIMS: UKIMS authorisation provides access to the UK internal market, allowing goods into Northern Ireland via a digital ‘green lane’. You can declare goods as ‘not at risk’ to avoid EU duties on eligible goods from Great Britain (paying only UK duty on goods from outside the UK and EU)
